The H&R Block Tax software provided an excellent user experience. Their 2025 software is backward compatible with Windows 10, so that was a deciding factor. The H&R help desk talked me through my confusion, and their software performed correctly. Electronic filing worked great, and my refund arrived in my bank account after several days.

I’ve been using HR Block software for years and I’ve found it to be very easy to use. I also like that it keeps my data on my pc, and not in the cloud, and that it brings forward my personal info from last year, and my 1099 sources. My tax situation is not complicated, but I made mistakes in the past when I did it on my own, and I don’t want the hassle of going to a tax preparer. I have never been notified of a mistake since using this software, and I expect to use it again next year and beyond.
