The H&R Block software package works seamlessly together and anticipates your every need. It explains each step in plain wording that everyone can understand. And it tracks your submitted return so you know when it has been accepted. I have used it for seven years with no problems and would recommend it to anyone new or experienced in preparing taxes.
I've been using TaxCut since 1995. Loyal customer. I have one major concern.H&R Block clearly made a political decision to require Windows 8 or 10 to use the software. That's very ironic since the software is still 32bit. Go figure. I'm not sure I'm a big fan anymore. One other point. It does not do a good job with Sch E stmt
Would get a 5 rating if you let me know more clearly what to do if my return is rejected because of an incorrect AGI on IRS' books and I decide to print and mail. Will my already uploaded payment info now process once the paper returns are received or should I send a check with it? Some info in the email, not too clear, but this info belongs in the software.
I have used it for years, but this time I found an error on how it marked status on the amended-return form. That's not as bad as the program my daughter used that made the mistake that required her to make an amended return.
