I'm a well read IT Engineer and found some of the question baffling. I even asked my financial advisor about some of them and HE didn't understand them either. If an Engineer and a Financial Consultant don't understand a question in the dialogue used by H&R block, who will? A rocket scientist?

Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have used for years to file taxes and been very pleased. I am still pleased, but I am starting to wonder if the cost is worth it with all of the other available options now that are free and don't charge for e-filing State returns either?

I have been using this tax software since 1990 -- 30 years. The product and service provided was great in the beginning and has only improved with time. Such features as informing one as why electronic filing is not possible and suggesting fixes is a plus. Also guiding one through non-cash charitable deductions is a great feature.
