I’ve been using this tax software for years, but this year I had a lot of trouble with compatibility with my Mac. Your team was very helpful, but it was not easy getting through it this year.

Great product. Took me longer to organize my files then it did to prepare them a file them. Federal and State tax refunds came in less than a week. The only difficult part was “clicking” the “No” and “Does not apply” options. But that is not H & R Block’s fault. They cover all the bases.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I’ve used this software before always with good results. This year the software failed to fully account for the Oregon “kicker” refund. Thankfully the OR state tax office corrected the error resulting in a state tax refund in excess of $200 more than the software calculated.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

I've been using software from H & R Block for 10-15 years and am very happy with it. However, I ran into a problem this year. I e-filed my federal taxes this year, as usual, but, instead of getting a paper check in the mail, I received a notice from the IRS stating that my banking information was not correct and they could not direct deposit (I hadn't entered any at all). I did not know and the Software did not tell me that I was required by the IRS to direct deposit. I had to set up an account with the IRS and have my identity verified by ID.me. This process took 9 days to successfully accomplish, VERY annoying.
