I have been using H&R Block Tax software since I worked for CompuServe as a Network Engineer. H&R was our Parent company back then in the 90's. The only thing I don't like or not sure about is the updates and why do I have to constantly down load a new Program? If you want to make us pay for the updates for the next tax season, sure I can see that, but the core program did not change. Secondly, what are the updates to the software I download, after I had already sent in my taxes? Did I miss something Good or Bad? Would I have gotten more or less on my returns or maybe because of the updates I had to pay? What are you updating? Lastly, A nickname is "Required" really? I thought you wanted feedback on the software?

Used Tax Cut for years. Last 2 yrs, after completing the accuracy review of my return, I was prompted to enter the itemized deductions I took the previous year. I entered 0, but Tax Cut would not accept it. I ended up skipping the step. Tax Cut should have known this since I had imported the previous years return and had no itemized deductions.

I BOUGHT THE PROGRAM. DID MY TAXES NO Red flags,don't know if asked to import 1099 forms. Days lather got letter from IRS had to mail 1099 forms in.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
