Unclear, rigid error correction process, hidden/surprise State filing fee (buying state package with a free Fed filing package). Never will use again.

I have used your software for as long as I can remember. Last year it frustrated me badly. This year I could not file my state taxes online. Software said it could not attach my files. Frustration is high and deadline is closing in on me. Next year I think now that it might be wiser to pay someone to do my taxes but no, I would not recommend your product anymore. Why won't it attach a pdf file? Federal taxes went thru finebut not the state. Plus if file the state later then you have confusing screens. Why not go straight to filing the state? Whoever is rewriting this software better wake up! You have lost me.

The more you use it the easier it becomes. Importing previous years’ information is quick and seamless plus it can import from non-H&R Block programs such as Quicken and other tax prep programs. The interview process moves along easily and includes hints and suggestions. I hate doing taxes but this makes it fairly simple.
