Still excellent software, but it seemed a little more difficult this year. Also there is no place for political statements in tax software

I have used hrb for several years and I am always satisfied with the product. This is much more economical than using the online software. I like the security of being able to download the software to my computer, then enter my information into my computer and electronically sending my information directly to the IRS. I feel my information is more secure this way than entering into some online system.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents

This is probably the 6th or 7th version of H&R; Block's tax program that I've used. This one is particularly good. I like that it updates frequently and it walks me through all the different aspects of filing taxes. With the electronic filing my refund arrived in about a week and a half from filing. That's great.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
