I’ve used H&R Block software for several years now, the self help and ‘ fill in’ from last year makes the whole process seem flawless and easy to prepare.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unable to do separate page printing, which makes it very difficult to use in a efficient manner.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

Extra charge of to efile STATE Taxes is too high.

There are still far to many times it doesn’t explain a field and tells you to go look up it up in an IRS pamphlet. Also the UI looks like it hasn’t been updated ever and I don’t think it ever has been.

The software works fairly easily with the interview. However some of the data might still either be missing or miscalculated. You MUST check the forms and the numbers.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

Have been using the package for many years. Tried doing it with the on line version this year. Very disappointed it locked up on me several times. So, I got the disc. And, in a couple of hours I was finished with the state and fed returns and they are filed. yeah.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
