The software is fine but there are hidden costs. It is expensive to e-file the state return. I wasn't getting much back so I had to print the state return out and mail it.
Pros: Easy to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I filed my 2025 taxes a few weeks ago. I applied my refund to next years taxes. H&R Block did not ask me for any bank information. Now I have a letter from the IRS asking for my bank information.
When I say to save as a PDF, it refuses and complains about my printer resolution. The box 14 on the W-2 never contains the IRC 132 code nor the Fringe code. This program seems to have the same problems year after year with no sign of improvement.
