I got a memo from State indicating a resubmission to include the NYC component. This was done and refiled.

Overall the Product was above average.
The accuracy of the Composite 1099 import was problematic in handling the program's Cautionary Data Flags in the Form Review Section of the Tax Return data contained in the Import. The problem gave me such a problem that I Deleted the Import and entered All the data from the Composite 1099 by hand (figuratively, that is).
Cons: Hard to import documents

Very disappointed had problem with return. It was rejected by Federal government. Had problem with my wife's RMD on her IRA. She had to take a distribution from her IRA because she turned 73 in 2025. The H&R program stated that she had until April 1st of 2026 to make this distribution. The AI feature in program was useless, there was no one to call for advice. I had to take my return to a local tax preparer to do my taxes. Cost me to have him do it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Charging for state downloads and additional filling fees is highway robbery . Cost more than the actual software cost.
