Can't e-file.

Unable to efile. Keep receiving same error message: "We're unable to e-file your return. We're investigating the problem and are trying to resolve it."
Cons: Hard to prepare

Didn't help much with sale of inherited IRA; somewhat confusing on sale of mutual funds. Can only say, "hope that went ok" - unclear on review about what needs to be changed, or if it needs to be changed. Also, wouldn't honor coupon you sent me in the mail. But it is better than TurboTax by a long shot.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

Confusing to efile and print docs to mail check

Efiled and software says I will get email of what to print to mail check. All I got was status email. No clue on what to print to mail check... Guess I will print entire copy and mail check... Efile was worthless.

Good software BUT additinal Fees ARE TERRIBLE

The software package is good and fairly priced. HOWEVER if one was to do any thing but calculate the tax and submit FEES are horrible. e g. file an extension file state return. The other issue these fees keep escalating YEAR over YEAR . Might have to look for an alternative software. . NJ State calculation & instructions for extension filing NJ630 are confusing at best

I have been using H&R Block software for many years. Although there are competing brands, I have placed my trust in the H&R Block product and have not been let down. My taxes are relatively easy (I make money and the feds take it) but I could see if they were more complicated the audit support, online tax advice, and ease of use would be extremely beneficial.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
