Federal was great. State was lousy.

State told me I owed $800 when I knew that I had zero adjusted income and my wife had just over $4000. I redid state using different software and I came out owing zero. Big difference between $800 and zero.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features -but a few drawbacks too.

I have used HRB for YEARS, always good return forms, great instructions, updates, checks & rechecks on each step. PROBLEM, and it is probably my ignorance, the forms are in teeny tiny print & nothing on the programs will let me enlarge it, There may be something on my computer that will enlarge the whole program but I don't know what it is or have forgotten if I did know. Over all it is a really good easy program to use IF you sort your paper work &/or have it already on your computer [fastest!] YES I will be buying the same program next year too. TENNJAL

Taxes were something I used to dread. They were awful. But this is the fifth year that I have used this software and I’m still awed at how quickly things go. It is extremely user friendly. Painless and accurate. It’s the best one out there in my experience

I really enjoy using H&R Block Deluxe with State. After I get my similar forms together, I just go through answering all their questions. If I need more information, it's always available to me. I've been using this software for probably 40 years, starting when it was called TaxCut. So simple!

I tried buying this product through your email and had a bad experience, the Start kept looping on a request for my 2018 return. I Googled the purchase and all ran well.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

Easy to import prior data, just hard to understand all the tax code, this makes it easy to get you looking for the correct info and forms
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

This year was the smoothest and best in history

I have used taxcut since the floppy disk era (1990's) and this year was the smoothest, easiest importation of last year, and most detailed tax help yet. I would say this is the best version of this program that you have sold yet.
