So user friendly

When I started using software to do my taxes, I used "the other" brand. Switched to H&R Block several years ago because it was less expensive. So glad I did! It's much easier to use and it asks all the right questions so you don't forget anything. It gets better every year. Does a great job of importing previous year's info, which saves a lot of time. I only gave it 4 stars because it puts you in Survey Monkey after it loads, and I couldn't figure out how to get out of that without answering some very intrusive questions.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

I've been using H&R Block for several years. It's easy to use & navigate, covers everything I need, makes filing easy, and provides updates after filing. It's easier than working through the forms without a program and a lot less expensive than paying someone else to do your taxes.

It doesn’t translate perfectly from Federal to State & somehow pulled the wrong filing data from previous return.

This made it so easy. I have never E Filed before and didn't realize the ease of filing both Federal and State and making payment at the same time.
