I've used H&R Block software for years.and found the programs to be helpful and easy to use.
I've never had a problem with the IRS or the state.
A relative, whose return is no more complex than mine, uses a local tax preparer and pays 4 to 5x more than the cost of my program,

I really count on this software to quickly, easily walk me through all the forms and steps that I need to complete to safely file my Federal and State tax returns. The verifocation step at the end allows me to sleep at night without worry that the IRS will fine me, penalize me, and cost me a lot of money.
