Found 3 or 4 bugs this year! So disappointed :(

I have been happily using H&R Block software for at least 20 years and do taxes for relatives besides my own. This year was horrid. The bugs found were:
For the IRS, couldn't report a QCD taken from an Inherited IRA. :(
For Calif, couldn't enter the excess over-payment from 2018 to be carried over to 2019. :(
For Calif, couldn't report dividends that were taxable federally but tax-free for Calif. (It only allowed fed tax-exempt to be carried over to the state.) :(
When the Capital Gains carryover is different federally and for the state, I could enter the California carry-over from 2018 but it wouldn't show me the calculations for how much carry-over is left for next year. I have to dig out paper forms to calculate it. (This is for a return where the AGI is less than the Standard deduction) so all of the $3,000 is not used.)
In addition, I used the "Help" section to search for about 10 different keywords, but none were found. So, why even have a "Help" section?
I ended up re-doing the whole state return by hand and mailing it thru the Post Office.
Next year, I will likely move to a competitor for whom my friends give good reviews.
