Good, but dual-state returns require manual entry

Federal fine, Minnesota would not upload last year had to submit manually. MN this 2019 bug ridden would not allow for electronic filing because on non existent state state id issues on 1099R payees id numbers.

I have used another brand many years. Thought I would try H&R this year. Bad decision. So much trouble. Had to do things over and over. Do not like having to recheck everything so many times.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To best review a tax software, it is best when your tax situation is effectively recognized, handled appropriately, and given maximum benefit to the user. I did not have any situations this year in which I saw the software give me a clear advantage. But it did appear that it handled my taxes okay, since they were fairly typical. I did see that sometimes the questions in the interview and the information in the help section were not very clear. My hope is that no audit is triggered that the software could have predicted or helped me avoid.
