I am not happy with this product it has not allowed me to file electronically the past two years I have had to mail in my returns and I have been charged extra filing fees when I submitted my return. nobody to call for assistance unless you pay additional fees.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

I've used this product for about 20 years and have never had a problem with it. It's easy to use and asks the right questions to get the best outcome for the taxpayer. I worked at a competing tax preparation firm for several years and could have used their proprietary software for free but chose to buy the H&R Block software.

paid extra for deluxe because of a property sale but your software offered no assistance on calculating base. i almost overpaid my taxes because you did not offer enough assistance. fortunately i found some assistance on the irs website. the point of buying the software is not to have to look for the information myself.

Activation code invalid

The software itself was very easy to use and I completed my taxes in a timely manner. However, the activation code did not work and I had to end up paying full price for e-filing. The activation code is printed in big bold print. I did not have the wrong activation card. I will be getting TurboTax next year, unless I get a refund.
