So easy

I have used H&R Block software for many years. It is easy to understand even for a novice. It asks all the questions needed to do an accurate job and get the maximum refund. Very helpful. It makes me confident that my taxes are done correctly.

filing has turned into a nightmare

The software was fair. I am using Win7 and it still installed and seemed to work. Several statements / results were WRONG, but I worked around them. Then I efiled. Transmission successful but PENDING has lasted for a week. Called for support - 34 minutes on hold, 5 minutes on dead air then cut off. I have used this software for years, not so sure about next year.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Been using for years and program has not let me down. Has lots more features then I need, but more is good to have just incase. The only thing I would ask for is being able to pick Standard Deduction up front and not have to go through pages that I know won't apply.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This years software is terrible.

I have been going over and over. Nothing was corrected. Asking me same question. No place to put check markLuke all I have one cheking like it to be deposited. It had been deposited cheks before by IRS.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Error on the tax year Va 8453?

On the Virginia VA 8453. Tax declaration for efiling. When I copied its showing tax year 2019 for 2020. I have a copy of 2019 and it's correct from 2019. Glitches needs corrected. Other than that was smooth

I have used this program since it started. Need to fix the stated ID selection will not let you choose your state ID. Only says other state.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to prepare

Simple but Powerful

I've been using H&R Block software for years and every year it gets just a bit better. Simple to use, imports my complex brokerage tax forms and integrates them perfectly, and free e-filing for federal returns. I just wish the state e-filing was a little less pricy.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!
