The field for the drivers license document number still has insufficient space for the 10 character ID (because 3 is less than 10) and the form acknowledges the length of the document number without ALSO providing enough spaces for it. This was the same last year and I was hoping it had been corrected.
I had two issues this time. 1. during review the software looked at my 2019 return and questioned the fact there wasn't a figure in the itemized spot. It should of known that it was a standard deduction and not even questioned it. 2. When finishing up it wanted the GPI from the previous year return, which it automatically placed for me, but it didn't place it for my spouse which wouldn't me move on until I filled it in. Not sure why it was required since it is a joint return as was 2019 tax return. A positive, the software didn't require country of origin for taxes paid on my 1099 from Edward Johns account. Last year it wouldn't proceed without until a country was listed. I ended not claiming taxes paid to a foreign country. Thanks for fixing that issue.
I did some consulting for my former employer last year, and the software handled all the Self-Employment forms I needed, and included the Social Security payments that were due. I was pleasantly surprised.
