I’ve been using H&R Block Deluxe for over 10 years to do my own taxes. It works flawlessly and I have never had an issue nor have I been rejected or audited by the IRS. I like the ability to import last year’s information to get a quick start. I filed the first allowable day by IRS and received my tax refund about 12 days later. I am a Florida resident, so I do not need any state forms, this package was a perfect fit.

I bought this thinking that the federal and one state return was free but after doing my taxes it charged me for the state return. But other than that it worked well

Plus-30 year user of your product however, in the last several years an annoying feature has presented. In essense, every data cell's data comes from somewhere, but it seems lately when seeking where a number comes from, you guys haven't done the work to allow me to make the jump to the source of that data. Why?

I went with this software because TURBOTAX would no longer under WINDOWS 10...
Was not impressed as I ran it three times and could not get a realistic IRSA tax document that I believe was accurate, had to completely erase the installation and reinstall and finally got a document that seems realistic, only hope IRS thinks document is good.....Them went to run state (California) and first time around state said I could get a $309,789 refund with a $156,000 income... And even trying to retry state information could not make the bogus refund amount go away........ Really hard to believe..... Only hope the software was good enough that IRS and State does not come back on me for bad filing..... Relay think there are some problems in software the really need a good expert to correct and make totally reliable.... think whole thing really needs a rewrite as some of the question asked and graphics are rather crude Not sure if I will use it next year depending on how the tax prep software industry is and what I have for computer system....

State return was accepted nearly 10 days after the federal despite the fact that they were filed on same date.
There is no one to call with questions and or updates.
In years past I have been happy but this year there are some issues. I question why there was a delay in sending to NYS.

I switched from Turbo Tax about 5 years ago and while I prefer the H&R software, there are still a few issues each year often relating to data verification. It is also common for the program to think I am using certain forms when I am not.
