Good tax filing software. I appreciate that it supports older MacOs software versions. But I do think improvements could be made with the interview process. It is not as user-friendly as compared to TurboTax.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got the notification that 2025 tax forms were ready to download. I downloaded my program at the end of January 2026. I sat down and did my taxes a couple of weeks later after getting everything together.

No 1099 downloads. H&R Block "Type it yourself."

Was never able to download 1099-B nor 1099-DIV data. Greatly disappointed in HRBlock's 10-second timeout limit. T. Rowe Price said it and other brokers had many clients with the same experience.

Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

I encounter the same problems every year. The installation instructions are not accurate. I called in and no one was able to help. I found via an AI the correct solution. Additionally, the import of financial institutions is flawed. Merrill did not work and I had to enter it manually.

Cons: Hard to import documents

In the middle of submitting my completed forms, the program updated after charging me for the Pennsylvania program. When I realized the submission did not go through 3 days later, I was again charged for the state program. Other than that, the process worked well.
