I love this product, it walks you through every step in a organized fashion which makes it very easy to use. I use this software program every year and plan on continuing to do so.

When I bought this program I expected to answer questions and the program to fill out the paperwork. But when it was directing me to fill out the paperwork on my own I thought that was a little counterproductive. All It had to do was ask me specific questions and it should’ve filled it out all by itself but it did not. I was extremely disappointed in that.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

this software is easy to navigate. It asks questions on each subject to help you decide what you need to enter if anything at all. HR Block made this fool proof. As long as you read each question and navigate each step thouroghly, you can not go wrong. I showed my 18 year old how to do her taxes using this program. There is also an accuracy check at the end that will find mistakes and issues in your form. It will advise you on corrections and steps that you need to take.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

A fairly good program, but doesn't have the capability to generate an amended return from a previous year and file electronically. It doesn't encourage itemized deductions when warranted.

It does not allow e-file NY tax while NY requires e-file for income higher than certain level. Other software does. Will not buy it again next year.
