H & R is a great program , only concern is the amount you can efile..for a family of 7 to 8, you have to purchase 2 programs in order to efile for everyone...

I have used H&R block since 2003 when I bought my house and first started itemizing. I felt much more confident using this software than I did in my abilities to figure it all out. I still do - even though I no longer itemize my own, I still buy the software and use it for mine, as well as for my father's, which does get itemized. I've never had any issues with my returns at all since the software checks for any errors or red flags that would trigger audits.

The program reminds you what you need to enter and does all the math. It makes the taxes much easier to navigate. The only problem I have had is when I get a document late and try to enter it, it is not always easy to get the program to go back to that item.
