For the most part very easy to use - some of the wording is a little tax technical and not necessarily clear, but over very helpful. I like that form numbers have been added in places they were not in the prior year. Overall great software
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

I HAVE USED H&R BLOCK FOR MY LAST 6 TAX RETURNS. THE SOFTWARE IS SOLID, I HAVE NOT BEEN AUDITED TO DATE. BE AWARE THAT AT THE END OF THE PROCESS THERE ARE SOME ACCURACY VERIFICATIONS THAT POP UP. IT APPEARS TO BE AN INTERNAL GLITCH IN THAT WHEN I CHECK THE DATA IT APPEARS TO BE CORRECT...

Federal is Great. Hawaii program needs Corrections

The Federal program is excellent. Easy to follow and comprehensive. I can't say as much for the Hawaii program as it does not treat certain RMD distributions as non-taxable. You have to override line 13 of the tax form to make the correction yourself. It has been this way for years.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

first time filing worked ok but I had to amend & refile . Federal worked ok the Minnesota software is however broken and does not compote the additional remittance required correctly.
you might want to take a look into that
