I bought this some time ago and was then able to download it when it became available. This is about the fourth or fifth year that I've used H&R software. I have been pleased with it with one notable exception.I live in NY state and the state issued inflation reducton checks this past year. It was my understanding that the amount received was not taxable by the state, but was taxable by the federal government. I found no specific place in the federal software to add that to my federal income. Also, the state did not issue a 1099G for that income.

Good for the price, AI help feature not so good.

I was willing to try this software because it was reasonably priced. I did not rate it highly because the AI help was useless to me, apparently I asked questions that were too complicated. The direct question feature for filling out forms was OK, but too often there was not a choice to finish or exit out once I had nothing left to input.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’ve been using this software since 1999 (before it became H&R Block). I have been, and continue to be, happy with the intuitive software. This year is only the second time in all the years that the verification process was difficult to use: one was information about the previous year itemized deductions that should have been imported directly as 0, but the verification kept telling me I needed to put in the total from above line 12 of my previous year return. I was able to clear them all eventually, but overall you guys get 2 stars for the lack of details on how to fix and clear the potential errors.
