My only complaint is, after all these years, still having to override a data cell because the programming is not robust enough. This occurs on entry of the Schedule K-1 for Partnerships and S Corporations, Box 13 Other deductions. I provide a valid deduction code "I - Deductions - royalty income"" from the drop down list, yet it still requires manual intervention to be entered correctly within the tax return. The location should be programmed for each code. For deduction code "I", that location is Schedule E (Form 1040), line 19. But, overriding this field prevents my ability to e-file, so I do not take this deduction on my return. Please fix. Thank you.

Last year, I was new to doing my own tax. So, was a bit nervous at first because I did not want to screw up my good tax record. But did try and things went better than I anticipated. H&R software made it straight forward with the questions and explanation. I just followed the steps and made sure all information were entered correctly. I took time, went back and forth to review and double-check everything. Really like the options to quickly jump to any part of the forms and intelligently scan for acuracy at the end. So far, I have not used any other programs to compare with H&R as far as easy of use and better return. Getting my tax done correctly is still the most important part and I feel the program could provide that. Just finished my 2020 return and both filings were accepted within minutes to an hour. Really happy with the product.
