I have used this software for years, generally find it easy to use, and will continue to use it. However, this year, with all of the new tax changes, some things were not documented as well as they could have been. While I believe that the software is accurate, I like to be able to understand decisions that the software makes. In two instances this year the software did not explain the decision, leading to some concern and significant effort to track down why. One instance was with the QBI deduction and the other was with the over 65 deduction on the Virginia taxes. It makes me truly appreciate all of the work that goes into developing tax software to make my life easier.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Very simple to use. Follow the step by step instructions and just put the correct figures from your 1099s. E-file is easy but don't pay my credit card because they have a large, never before mentioned service charge of almost 20 bucks. Just do it direct pay from your checking account.
