Not perfect, but a good value compared to using a tax preparer. Auto filled the state in a block that was for numbers and told me to correct my entry. Did the math okay, but needs better explanations especially regarding final checks. Has a chat function which is actually only a fancy FAQ page. Annoying that it does not include free e filing of state tax return.

I have been doing my own taxes since 1962, and thou some might disagree, I am more or less still sane, and much of that is due to your tax program. Every year taxes get more complicated, thanks to a Congress that likes to make life harder for us, But H & R Block has some smart folk that make life easier. Will continue to be a fan and user.

With a fairky complicated filing structure, iti is impossible to secure any council as to how to interpret the TaxCut interview terminology in the light of the investment forms supplied by the financial institutions. Too much guessing is required.
