It is good for basic tax returns but if you have investment accounts like an IRA it can be very frustrating.

Rip off. The IRS rejected my return and there was no way to fix it. The State return was rejected also.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

Since I used TT as well to file family members returns I go a chance to compare both. TT handled the new changes in 2025 better than HRB. The help features were more robust. For e ample overtime was step by step much easier to understand. I used TT to help process HRB. Sorry I've been using HRB for the past 10 years. Your current version has fallen behind.

Good for mid-level complexity. Some questions you are told to fill in the answer on your own after doing a manual form from IRS. Have used the software for nearly 20 years. Overall like it. But if you have a K-1 or unusual complexity expect to do some research on your own.
