I bought this program today and started out already not liking the change with importing last years tax return information. You now drag and drop the PDF file and it was fine for the personal information. When it came to the W2 information that is the same file it did not carry it over when I tried again to drag and drop it. It said the PDF was not good even though it was good in the very beginning. Also when entering in the Employer address when trying to select the Country the button does not work.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

The error checker doesn't work and some forms required for Federal filing are not updated.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents

Made the mudain task of yearly taxes much easier.. Was very easy to use and understand..

Did not interface with last year's return

I was happy with the results; however, I went into my account hoping that all my returns would be grouped together. They were not, so I hope the 2021 return was filled correctly.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

1st time in 20 years using product had massive software issues still can not file state yet

The ability to file Federal taxes online started January 24, 2022. But I had to wait for an update coming on January 25, 2022 before I could file. Well, all the updates are not available. Even though I do not have to include a Form 2210 with my filing, I have to use one for the software creation of my taxes. So now I am waiting until Feb. 3rd to GET THE NEXT UPDATE. And hopefully this Form will be in that update. I do not remember this happening with the H&R Block software before. But it does have me considering changing tax software. I expect tax software to be ready when I can start filing taxes, not sometime later.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund

I downloaded my state tax software and in it there was a referral to Federal form lines that didn't even exist. It did pull the correct data, but the line numbers displayed for the 1040 and 1040A where wrong.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Super easy to use goes step by step trust me if your like me and at first was hesitant bout doing your own taxes use HRBLOCK loved the whole experience of doing it myself!!
