Mostly easy to use - better than most

The software did a great job of grabbing data from my old PDF tax forms (from another company), and it got forms from some of my banks without any problems. I was particularly annoyed that both JP Morgan Chase and USAA were not listed as banks that I could automatically grab data from, as I use both of them and it's not like they are small banks.... Regardless, I was able to submit my taxes and I feel like the program was very thorough in helping me to find the best credits and deductions.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents

I have been using this product for more than 30 years. I have always been pleased with the results. I think when I first started using it, It was called Tax Cut. The only way I would use other software would if it was no longer available, or the price was no longer reasonable. I LOVE IT

Allowing too many errors

You allow too many errors, you should have them fix when entering data, instead of running a check each time.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

Social Security Worksheet

Had to wait several weeks and as many updates to be able to finally file. Problem was the worksheet on H&R Block Deluxe needed to be updated to be acceptable to IRS.
1st issue ever in all 10+ years of using the program. Not happy about this glitch.

Deluxe with State, Sometimes Update Issues

Software works ok when its working. Every year I buy the download WIN version from New Egg. Every year it installs ok but then there is always update to form issues where it gets stuck. This year the 1/25/22 updates did not apply to the Fed part but did for the state part. Then I waited for the 2/17/22 next updates the help desk claimed should have resolved the earlier update with. Of course it did not. I wound up uninstalling the Fed software part and resinstalling it with the downoad copy I had from New Egg. Upon reinstalling it also checked for updates and pulled the latest up thru 2/17 updates. Why this happens yearly with the New Egg version IDK but HRB needs to fix it.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!
