Excellent product, my spouse passed and I missed a 1099R consolidated requiring a 1040X to be filed. While complex, the instructions allowed me to complete this process and the IRS has accepted the amended return
Have used H&R Block for several years. This year I had issues with the data being retained in the forms. I went from owning a minor amount to getting a overly large refund to just a refund. One issue was the very late arrival of IRS letters 6475 (Covid stimulus money), one which took a month to arrive and causing me to update my return. Another issue was during this process, one of my 1099-R federal tax paid block went from $5k to $0 and that caused a large amount to be owed. If it was for the fact that I had the same income, I probably would have paid because the program didn't flag any missing data to double check. Only when I printed out a copy am manually when line by line did I find that not all of the taxes paid was on the form. Then I had to do a screen by screen search where the error was. I think it occur when the program automatically imported documents even though I didn't request it and it over wrote my inputs.
I have used HR Block software for several years with excellent results. Much easier than doing returns manually. The software guides the user through the process and checks the accuracy of data entry.
No Reports! No info on CarryOver Loss for 2021. TaxAct gives several interesting reports after completion - including carryover loss amount for 2022 return year.

I have used H&R tax application since 1998. However I did stop because at some point I ended up owing fed/state. So I went with a tax preparer who was not really interested in small clients. anyway started up again and for the past several years I ended up with a good return.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
No additional thought put into questions to make it more understandable than reading the tax forms (esp. state questions). It is not much more useful than a calculator. Would expect this to improve over the years, but they keep doing the minimum to get by. Make sure you check the numbers after you import, several numbers were wrong: they should specify a minimum resolution of 300dpi because 200dpi does an inaccurate job.
