Ok software, poor upgrade process

I had to download the update file 'Mac' version each time otherwise it just looped through again to update. Did comparison against TT, no difference. Long time HRB user.

IVE BEEN USING THIS PRODUCT FOR MANY YEARS/THIS IS THE SECOND TIME IVE HAD TROUBLE FINDING WHERE TOO PUT MY FEDRAL ID.NUMBER IT SHOULD BE HIGHLIGHTED

Great product assistance...even a human

Using HRB Deluxe 2021. My return was rejected by IRS indicating "Spouses AGI Doesn't match IRS records". I used HRB on-line help...worthless. I used IRS helpline...worthless. After 4 hours of checking all the data/SSN's/AGI's/numbers etc. I could not get my return accepted. I called HRB Audit assistance line. Only a10 minutes wait and I connected with MARTIN. Even tho I filed a joint return the IRS had it as Joint Filing Separate. MARTIN walked me through the process to change to married filing separate and put in AGI for spouse as 0. This only changed the way the IRS read my return. No impact on taxes. It took us an hour to figure it out but MARTIN stayed with me the whole time. We had to take 4 runs at filing before the IRS finally found one they liked/accepted. THANK YOU MARTIN.

Probably will not buy again

Software works fine, but did not allow me to import Charles Schwab data for 2021. Without this feature the software is mostly useless for me, as Schwab accounts for 85% of my annual tax reporting time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works well, User interface needs work

This is the second year I have used your product and so far I am happy. I do have one complaint.
Some of the screens are hard to read so I zoom in using Ctrl+. This works, except on many screens the “Next” button disappears, so I have to reset the zoom (Ctrl-) to advance to the next screen. You really should offset the Next button from the right margin so it stays on the visible portion of the screen, or add horizontal scroll bars.
Pros: Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare
