There are a few bugs in the software when using the "take me to" menu. The area of interest will sometimes skip important screens, so it is important you know exactly what you are looking for, because it might have been skipped over due to software bugs.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Bought this a month ago to do taxes did not like using your online program and couldn't get it to transfer info to this program
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

I have used this program to do my taxes the last few years. The format is familiar and has a good flow to it. I decided this year to spring for the Deluxe version , Federal and state.
I found this a little deceptive in that when you try to e-file the state it wants you yo pony up more money to e-file.

Several problems in preparing my return; would not allow me download investment info from Charles Schwab......help line said 'they are working on it'. Finally entered manually.
Software would not update, leaving me with old forms/unable to file. Help line didn't help.

Bad calculations even though I entered SS income and taxes it did not post when sent up and passed audit and was accepted even it was wrong
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

Very disappointed this year

I have been using this product since the 1980's and loved it. I would have always rated it as excellent in the past. This year the state tax portion didn't work, I tried to fix a mistake, but it wouldn't let me make the change. Causing me to take my state return to an Accountant. Not only is this going to cost me a lot of money, but I don't know when I will get it back. I have always sent my tax returns in February or early March.
It breaks my heart, that I don't know how I will do my taxes in the future.

Easy to Use!

This program is easy to use and I have been using it for many years. It's especially nice that it carries over much of the data from last year. I like the accuracy review at the end in case I have forgotten something.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
