Hard to use

If you have to do anything that's not on the standard interview, good luck! Horrible navigation, the help is useless; not much more than a repeat of the screen you're trying to get help on. The worst thing is it auto saves any changes you make. I was working on a potential amended return, and it saved my changes even though I specifically chose not to save. Now my original submitted return does not exist anywhere, and there's no way to get it back without starting over.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This program is very comprehensive. But includes tips like 'not common' after line items to help you review at a higher level the items pertinent to your case. The navigation is flawless. I see no reason to change how i submit my federal taxes.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been using H&R tax software for many years. It has served me well and I will use it in the future.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Getting used to it

After many years of using HRB software I’m finally getting the hang of it. I was less frustrated this year than in past years. I still find it impossible to get any kind of support - too many hoops to jump thru just to find a phone number. I am skeptical that I’d get real support. I can’t say for sure I’d recommend to others

pi pin identification & final cap gains

for several years running, software or help section does not direct user to the pi pin entry which has resulted in multiple, over the years, rejection.
also i was reintering data becaus i touched a wrong button. specifically in the short and long term capital gains, made multiple entries, then final page erased them all do to one button.
Cons: Hard to prepare

Did not allow printing of individual forms a page at a time. It dumped all schedules if they were wanted or not! What a waste of my paper and ink!!

Painful

I was really disappointed this year. There is a constant update that runs in a loop. To file took me a full day due to this issue. Will I buy this program next year? Probably not
