Only two issues

Do Not ask me for my prior year's AGI at the very last step of the process. Tell me this is needed before I start to pay for it.
Make sure that state distribution is a required field when state withholding is entered. Don't wait til filing time. I had to do this 4 times to get them all done.
Include support for forms 8453 and 1098-C. I am trying to avoid the paper.
Otherwise, fine.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

I can't live without Block Deluxe Software!

If you are not using Block Deluxe to prepare your taxes--you are losing money.
For 20+ years I have been using Block Deluxe.
Even you use a pair preparer--you should use Block to prepare a draft and turn it over to them.
By using Block you become more knowledgeable about what is required and what to save for the next tax year.
FULL STOP!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

DeductionPro did not work in my return

I've used HRB for years with mostly satisfactory results. The 2021 tax year program not being able to utilize DeductionPro was a definite downer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The software accepted my federal return with an incorrect AGI from the previous year.

For something you have to pay for it does a pretty crappy job.

Step by step instructions are very easy to follow.
The download from broker makes life a snap if you have many transactions.

Excessive fees

Great software overall it is easy to do your taxes using the software. I just don't understand why if we pay extra for State tax returns; We still been asked to pay more to e-file the state income tax return.

HOWEVER................THIS YEAR HAS BEEN A DISASTER. EVERY RETURN I PREPARED WAS DOWNLOADED FROM PREVIOUS YEAR AND EVERY ONE OF THEM, INCLUDING MINE, AT THE END SAID IT COULD NOT BE EFILED BECAUSE THE AGI WAS INCORRECT. I HAD TO HAVE ALL MY CLIENTS MAIL IN THEIR RETURNS. THEY WERE NOT HAPPY FOR THIS!!
