Terrible experience with correcting Federal eFile

When I needed more time to complete my TY2021 filing, I submitted an automated Federal Extension request. The request was rejected due to an error, and when I went to correct the error, the corrected form was also rejected with the error message saying I had already submitted the extension form previously. A Catch-22. There was no way to automatically correct my error.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This software isn't ready to go live. Needs to be pulled back to alpha testing
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Problem with Entering Routing Number

The Deluxe version would not accept the Routing number that I have been using for years. This forced me to risk my refund check being stolen in the mail. I really dislike having to wait months in fear that my refund will be stolen in the mail now.

they had errors twice with their program, went into the "office" waited over an hour only to be ushered out with out any explanation in a "meeting" t hat lasted less then 5 min.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund

Easy to use

My only complaint was that I had started my taxes a few weeks ago and that file was nowhere to be found. So I had to start over.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

I use HR Block every year for the last 15 years to do my taxes and I love how the software imports last year's return info for me. All I do is go through the different interviews, enter my info and boom my tax returns are done, saved, and printed. You can efile if you choose.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I’ve relied on HR Block programs for years but was disappointed this year with its lack of up to date necessary forms to complete a relatively simple capital gains credit.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
