HR Block totally dropped the ball with CT updates this year. Even the "updated" form contained errors. Ended up using CT state filing, which by the way is free, and correct This is likely the last year I will use HRB.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

I have been using H&R Block software for several years. It’s super simple to navigate and very easy to enter information. It also Carrie’s over the basic information from your previous year. I would never consider using anything else.

Appears to follow 1040 and other IRS forms intuitively. Paying to file state is a pain and apparently the source of net profit. Otherwise. State filing in Virginia is basic and straight forward. However, my taxes were pretty simple this year.
