Every time I use it I have some type of problem, or incompatibility, or surprise charge. It's never smooth and easy and the price I expect.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

A very bad experience with 2021 return, on account of inability to import data from Charles Schwab in February and March. It was never clear whose fault this was. In the end, I had to manually enter data from Schwab, as I needed to file when I needed to file. I'm still not sure that I did so correctly. I doubt very much that I will use H&R Block again. In addition, I believe I was charged twice for the download, but it was too much trouble to figure out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Refunds Delayed for MONTHS due to Software DEFECT

H&R Block software would not enter a valid previous year AGI for my spouse- even though the software did have access to that data. Could not override the software entry with valid data. I am switching to TurboTax next year
