Basicly a good tax preparation program, wtih some frustrating sticking points that I have run in to in the 2 years I have been using the program. When this happens your are left to guess as to how to proceeed. This is not unusal for programs of this nature but it can become exasperating. Even given this, I would not hesitate to recommend the program. No comparasion to do taxes without the assistance of software, and much much better than paying a tax preparer for what is likely an identical result. As an aside, my taxes are not terribly complicated, consisting of investiments, interest, ira distributions and charitable deductions.,

The software is straightforward, and if you understand what you have for income from various sources, it takes care of a lot of filling out forms by hand. I have used it now for at least 10 years, and have enjoyed reducing the time it takes to do my taxes down to a few hours. The "check for error" feature is nice to have and quickly identifies anything that you may have done incorrectly.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

Several issues this season of program crashing and not accepting data. Plus, it incorrectly added a tax credit on returns for both me and an adult daughter - impossible since neither of us claim dependents. Caused a tax payment to be made to IRS and loss of refunds.
