Have used program for about 10 years and it has met almost all of my needs. I have an oil+gas royalty trust that gives it some hiccups, but am able to put together complete federal returns that have never been audited.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming

While I have used H&R Block software for over 10 years I was not pleased with the fact that I could not import my Charles Schwab financial data until well into March. I have always been an early filer and this caused me much disappointment and inconvenience.

This is nearly the same software they were selling 10 years ago. It’s fine, but they have made few improvements over the years. Navigation is the worst. You can know sections exist, but have to search forever to find where they are by manually clicking through each section. Gave it 2 stars because it is cheaper than TurboTax

Have been with TaxCut and the current version for more than 2 decades. Prodoxt works and why change? The look and feel has stayed the same over years.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

I've used H&R Block software for several years. My taxes are only of moderate complexity making the package ideal. Like any program, there are some things I'd change. The deduction pro tool is great but a little klunky to use. That said, I plan on using the package again for next year's tax season.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents
