Have used Deluxe for 4 years. Never had any problems either in processing the taxes or filing on line. And ours are somewhat complicated in that we have two pensions and always have deductions above the standard deduction.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I would have given five stars, but the software was not ready for efiling on the day the IRS started receiving returns. I had to wait three weeks or more for them to fix the software. I have been using the software for years and this is the first time it wasn't ready for filing. My hope is that next year they will get their act together in time to have the software ready for efiling on day one.
That being said, I recommend using H&R Block's tax software. I have used it for many years and it is easy to use and provides good value.

I found the support information was lacking in the 2021 software. I tried to use the online help, but never connected to a live person as it seemed to promise it would.
Pros: Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
