The price for this software is very reasonable. Other software products I used in the past just kept raising their prices. I found this easy to switch to and import my information.

I've used this software for several years. The cost is reasonable. It provides the features needed for an uncomplicated tax return. And easily transfers information to my state return as well. I particularly like the fact that the software can extract income information from about a third of my IRA's. This prevents entry errors and limits forgetfulness. I am concerned about back-up of past years (so keep paper copy) having found that retrieving past returns requires updating the old software (no cost). A puzzle since these were saved as pdf's.
In 2021 I installed a home charging system for my EV. The cost might have reduced my taxes a bit, but this software did not include the necessary forms. I knew this in advance and recommend that the buyer check out coverage before buying.

Tech support is impossible to reach. Software intake processes made an error and I am still having a very difficult time with the IRS undoing the problem.

Easy to use and is good if you have investments. It will carry over information from last year’s taxes. If you don’t have many changes from year to year it will speed up entering the data. You can print out and review your taxes before you send it in to make sure there are not any mistakes or omissions.

I have used the tax software successfully for several years. But in 2022 (2021 taxes) I had an issue that the phone contacts said was software related and it was uncertain when there would be a fix. On the upside, I was able to contact a live person for the explanation but switched to another software to finish my taxes. I requested a refund but crickets.
