Although modern software and operating systems are now all 64-bits, the H&R Block software is still executing in 32-bits. I guess they will keep coding like this until the operating system forces them to go to 64-bits, which is when the operating system goes to 128-bits very soon. I only use this software because my prior tax filings are in it's proprietary format, which forces you to use their software.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Items are not in the right area, ie pension income vs regular income. Hard to find items

Disappointed in 2021 Tax Preparation Performance

I was disappointed in this year's (2021) tax software. It had a lot of glitches when I tried to file my taxes and told me to do unnecessary steps. I have used Block tax return for several years, but am seriously considering moving back to Turbo Tax.
Pros: Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare

I have been very pleased with H&R tax software, used for about 20 years. Generally buy multiple filings, installs on my PC. Easy to use, good support. Only negative is that it will not run on Windows 10 Mode S. Had to downgrade my Window security on my 1 yr old PC to allow it to install and run. HR Block worked fine, all my existing apps work fine. Downgrade only took a few minutes. I will continue to use and recommend HR Block!!
