Missing critical warning before filing Federal tax

I have used for many years to do my taxes and my relatives' taxes. Normally 5 Star. This year (only) I give it two stars because there was no warning related to requiring a mandatory trace request to the IRS if you did NOT get the third government "Economic Impact Payment" (COVID check) in 2021 that the government said you had received, BEFORE you can file your taxes. What a mess.
Pros: Easy to import documents

I use block year after year with no issues carry’s over my information from each year perfectly. I just have investment income in the form of dividends, self-directed IRA and social security.

I feel that this software does a great job of helping you through the deduction process, which for me is the hardest part of doing my taxes. This year, I actually had enough deductions that I was able to itemize to get a higher refund than if I had just taken the standard deduction.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming

State taxes were a little harder to do. Otherwise it went well. Haven't gotten any E-mails from the Feds or State people. So, I assume everything went well.

Upon going through the site, there was a supposed penalty being issued related to a W-2. I went back through the W-2 over and over, but the penalty still was shown. Finally I re-input the W-2 contents and the penalty went away. There was NOTHING visible on the screens that would have caused the penalty, so it is unclear what I did to correct the problem
