I do my taxes myself every year and never have had this issue. This was my first time using H&R. I did 4 tax filings. Every return amount said to be received by the program was higher than we all actually received. One person ended up owing and they were a college student working fast food. How does that happen?

I have used the H & R Block product for many years. I tried their principle competitor, but came back and haven't used anything else. I can't say it's perfect, but it makes doing your taxes possible.
