I have used this software for approx. 20 years. Gets harder to use and more confusing every year now. This year I downloaded it and my "key" was automatically added. When I went to submit, the "key" was rejected. After considerable research I was able to reach a customer service rep who gave me a replacement number. Pretty frustrating..

I couldn’t get my return to print properly. I was able to do a work around and get it to print but after many years of using Block software I will be switching to Turbo Tax next year. Also the wait for customer service was excessive.

Overall good piece of software. Few things were vague which caused delays mostly schedule C. Some confusion in the compilation of multiple schedule C's software ultimately treated them as a sum instead of depicting them separately in the return.
A little confusion on the tax generator as to whether to use capital gains worksheet or the qualified dividends worksheet. Seemed to choose the opposite one that I had chosen ahead of time.
Most of the effectiveness of the software was simply getting used to its algorithms ie, interviews, data entry, following the order set by block.
Definitely robust enough for my purposes glad I didn't buy the level below it.
Will buy again overall simpler and more defensible than doing it by hand.
