I couldn't install it on Win10-64. It wouldn't get updates even after bypassing antivirus and window security features. Tech support was clueless. It worked OK on Win 7.

If you're like 85% of all Americans who have simplified taxes ( yes homeowners too) then this is the no-brainer. Yes you will need to have all of your w2s etc. ready but the software takes you step by step from start to finish. You save hundreds of dollars in professional tax preparation fees. Its not as scary as it seems. If your a small business owner or have some crazy inheritance then maybe a pro is the answer, otherwise your wasting $.

There were several years that I would have rate this program 5 Stars . For the past two years there seems to be a glitch in filing direct with the IRS. i.e. Nit recognizing using the correct pin or previous year AGI to verify identity. Very frustrating.
Cons: Time consuming

The tax software product is fine and I have used it for years. The challenge is when you want to ask a tax question of a professional. The web site is incapable of providing that service. All that is available is to submit you tax documents for filing a return. It is impossible to just connect with someone to ask a question.
