Comprehensive yet not overwhelming

I have been using this software for years. I tried Turbo Tax one year and found it comparable but I found the TT charges more for its software for pretty much the same and having been used to the way H&R Block does things that it makes sense for me to stick with it. H&R is quite easy to use so why switch.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Support for dealing with IRS problems is poor!!!

I have a problem with my return and I was offered no help at all. First I had to chat with AI and then I was turned over to My Answer. I have had experience with them before and they are not subject matter experts!
They are generalist ( I got the same folks when trying to resolve a problem about a cruise on which I am booked)

Unhappy with this software package. Thought I submitted my forms back in March only to find out that they were still not submitted in July! Never buying this again.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

Absolutely terrible.

Absolutely terrible. I've bought for a few years, but not again.
The program HRB Deluxe '25 Efile+State couldn't handle IRA Excess Accumulation and Form 5329. Caused me to have to file an extension (due to a pre-planned trip.) So: The software didn't work, and I therefore had to file and extension, and HRB CHARGED me for that. It Still is not fixed, the robot is an insult to us, chat was useless due to clueless-ness. I spent far to many hours trying to figure it out. I want a refund plus expenses for all that :-) Never again.

I was sent a letter from the Indiana DOR for penalties and interest. Your program indicated my dependent was first time and an additional something. I clearly did not check these boxes in the interview. In fact the federal interview said he was ineligible and marked no.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
I would recommend this to a friend!
