It worked well on the federal tax but on the state it computed my getting a refund of over $1000 but actually I had to pay a small amount. That took considerably longer to get taken care of.

Impossible to file a second amended federal form

The program is easy to use. I could not, however, compose more than one amended return. My error on the first amended came because the program showed me getting a refund of everything that I owed. I finally realized that was wrong but sent it anyway since I needed to amend the state tax form. I then eventually discovered how to amend it correctly but could not send a second amended federal form.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to prepare

The H&R Block tax software is easy to use and competitively priced. I used another product until 2013 when a tax form that used to be included suddenly required an additional charge. The following year I switched to Block and never looked back.
